Brendan is a Technology Analyst at IDTechEx, working mainly in the Life Sciences division. Prior to joining IDTechEx, Brendan graduated from the University of Cambridge with a MSci in Natural Sciences. Brendan received a MSci (Master of Science) in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge in 2021, having specialized in Physics with a particular focus in Biophysics and Soft Matter.  In IDTechEx, Brendan will be focusing primarily on the healthcare aspect of the Life Sciences division, looking to understand the technology and markets involved in the field.

Thierry Bouchet received his PhD in Electrical Engineering in 2001 and worked for IBS (Ion Beam Services) and Atmel, two semiconductor companies. In 2011, Thierry created a fabless start-up (ADIS) in the field of power electronics for a niche market. After having worked as a strategic marketing manager for energy and power electronics at CEA LETI, he became the CEO of Wise Integration, a start-up he launched in 2020, for the ultimate solution to miniaturize power supplies using GaN integrated circuits and digital control.

Wouter Charle is manager for hyperspectral imaging technology at imec, leading the off-the-shelf and evaluation-system activities. He has a background in physics and software engineering. After starting his career in 3D machine vision, he joined imec in 2014 to help grow the hyperspectral imaging business.

Professor Dr. Todd Ditmire co-founded Focused Energy in 2021 with the goal of demonstrating laser-driven fusion for energy production within a decade. He currently serves as the company’s CTO, as well as the Director of the Center for High Energy-Density Science (CHEDS) and a Professor of Physics at the University of Texas at Austin, where he specializes in experimental studies of intense ultrafast laser interactions with plasmas, atoms, and clusters. Todd is also the Founder and President of National Energetics, which produces custom-built, high-power lasers for research and defense. He led the development and construction of the Texas Petawatt high peak power laser, and he’s currently assisting in building the world’s next highest-powered laser at the Extreme Light Infrastructure Lab in Prague. Todd received his bachelor’s degree in Physics and Art History from Harvard and earned his PhD in Applied Science and Physics from the University of California, Davis.

Tom Doyle brings over 30 years of experience in operational excellence and executive leadership in analog and mixed-signal semiconductor technology to Aspinity. Prior to Aspinity, Tom was group director of Cadence Design Systems’ analog and mixed-signal IC business unit, where he managed the deployment of the company’s technology to the world’s foremost semiconductor companies. Previously, Mr. Doyle was founder and president of the analog/mixed-signal software firm, Paragon IC solutions, where he was responsible for all operational facets of the company including sales and marketing, global partners/distributors, and engineering teams in the US and Asia. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University and an MBA from California State University, Long Beach.

Dr. Stefan Finkbeiner received his diploma in physics from the University of Karlsruhe in 1992. He then studied at the Max Planck Institute in Stuttgart and received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Stuttgart in 1995. Dr. Finkbeiner was appointed as CEO of Bosch Sensortec in 2012, having previously served as general manager and CEO of Akustica Inc, a Bosch Group company that develops MEMS microphones for consumer electronics applications and is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Finkbeiner joined Robert Bosch GmbH in 1995 and has been working for more than 20 years in different positions related to the research, development, manufacturing, and marketing of sensors. Senior positions at Bosch have included director of marketing for sensors, director of corporate research in microsystems technology, and vice president of engineering for sensors. In 2015, Dr. Finkbeiner was recognized with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from MEMS & Sensors Industry Group.

Jonathan Harper is Member of Technical Staff at onsemi. He has over thirty years of experience working on the market development and definition of power products in marketing and applications roles at onsemi, Fairchild Semiconductor and National Semiconductor. He has BSc/MEng degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Bath and an MBA from the University of Warwick. He is based in Munich.

Shri Joshi is currently the head of the Industrial Power Control (IPC) division for the Americas at Infineon Technologies. Shri is responsible for the sales, marketing and distribution of the Americas for the IPC division. Previously, he was senior director of marketing for the IPC division. He has also held various sales and marketing management positions within this division. Joshi has over two decades of product marketing and management experience in renewables and other power electronics applications, semiconductors, and wireless communications. In his free time, he enjoys spending time motorcycling. He has a Master’s Degree in Instrumentation from SGGS College of Engineering in India. 

Paul Kierstead has more than 30 years of experience in semiconductors, and serves as the Global Director of Power Product Marketing for Wolfspeed. Paul joined Wolfspeed in 2008 as the Director of Marketing and Applications, and is a key visionary for jump-starting the SiC Power Semiconductor Market. He started his career in engineering and marketing roles at both Fairchild and National Semiconductor.

Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Powerbox, Patrick Le Fèvre is an experienced, senior marketer and degree-qualified engineer with a 40-year track record of success in power electronics. He has pioneered the marketing of new technologies such as Digital Power, Wide Bandgap semiconductors and technical initiatives to reduce energy consumption. Le Fèvre has written and presented numerous white papers and articles at the world’s leading international power electronics conferences. These have been published over 450 times in media throughout the world. He is also involved in several environmental forums, sharing his expertise and knowledge of clean energy.

Alex Lidow is CEO and co-founder of Efficient Power Conversion Corporation (EPC). Prior to founding EPC, Dr. Lidow was CEO of International Rectifier Corporation. A co-inventor of the HEXFET power MOSFET, Dr. Lidow holds many patents in power semiconductor technology and has authored numerous publications on related subjects, including co-authoring the first textbook on GaN transistors, GaN Transistors for Efficient Power Conversion, now in its third edition published by John Wiley and Sons. Lidow earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Caltech and his Ph.D. from Stanford.

Dr. Henrik Lundgren is Senior Battery Technology Engineer at Polarium. Since completing his dissertation in 2015, Lundgren has worked on the electrification of society, in the automotive sector, the telecom sector, and the stationary energy storage sector. He has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and Applied Electrochemistry (Thermal Aspects and Electrolyte Mass Transport in Lithium-ion Batteries) from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.

Henrik Mannesson is the general manager for Grid Infrastructure at Texas Instruments. He works alongside his team to help customers solve design challenges in smart meters, solar energy, EV charging and grid automation with the goal of making the grid greener, smarter and more resilient. Henrik holds a Master of Science in electrical engineering and Bachelor of Science in business administration from Lund University, Sweden.

Chris McCormick is responsible for the market-leading timing device business at Epson. He represents Epson at various standards organizations and industry associations and has worked in timing since 2011. Chris holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.

Nir Minerbi is the co-founder and CEO of Classiq, a company developing a unique platform for quantum algorithm design. Mr. Minerbi has a history of leading cutting-edge technology teams and projects to extraordinary outcomes. He has a Master's degree in Physics and is a graduate of the prestigious 'Talpiot' program, described by Forbes magazine as "a Rhodes scholarship, a presidential fellowship, and a Harvard M.B.A. rolled into one".

Anthony comes to Navitas with 15 years of Quality, Reliability, Project Management, Process Development and Design engineering and management experience in the Power Semiconductor industry. In addition, he has spent the past 5 years in the Consumer Goods/Electronics industry as VP of Quality and Reliability Engineering focusing on system level reliability and quality controls. Anthony holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from UCLA.

Frank Schirrmeister is senior group director, solutions & ecosystem at Cadence, where he leads a team translating customer challenges in the hyperscale/data center, communications, consumer, automotive, aerospace/defense, industrial, and healthcare vertical domains into specific requirements and solutions. His team focuses on cross-product technical solutions such as 5G, artificial intelligence, machine learning, safety, security, and digital twins, as well as partner collaborations. Frank holds a Dipl.-Ing. in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany. Prior to joining Cadence, Frank held senior engineering and product management positions in embedded software, semiconductor, and system development, both in Europe and the United States.

Kannan started his career with Texas Instruments (TI) in analog design in 2003 and currently serves as the vice president (VP) and general manager of High Voltage Power Products. Prior to his current role, Kannan was the VP of motor drives at TI. Kannan received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Annamalai University in India, then a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Oregon State University.

Prior to joining IDTechEx, Yulin received his master's degree in medical robotics from Imperial College London, specialising in artificial intelligence, robotics, and mechanical engineering. His research involved using computer vision and artificial intelligence to detect the intention of users. Prior to his master's degree, Yulin completed his undergraduate degree from both the University of Edinburgh and Dalian University of Technology, undertaking research projects ranging from using machine learning for carbon reabsorption and robotic 3D printing. Before joining IDTechEx, Yulin worked as a part-time software engineer and machine learning consultant in London, where he collaborated with a range of universities to collect data and develop the machine learning model for a 'smart' rehabilitation robotic device.
